Sting Soccer Foundation

FINANCIAL AID

The Sting Soccer Foundation grants financial aid every year to applicants to low-income families. Our mission is to have as many young athletes on the soccer field as possible and help offset the financial burden that comes with participating in competitive soccer. This type of funding can cover program dues, uniforms, and also provide some tournament-play support.

Anyone can apply for financial aid through the Sting Soccer Foundation, no matter what Club you play for. Financial Aid decisions are made by the Board of Directors independently. It is our honor to make these investments in our deserving players.

Financial Aid application deadline is July 15th, 2024.

Decisions will be made throughout the month of August 2024.

All fields must be completed, even the supplying of tax returns. Incomplete requests for financial aid will not be considered

Sage was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and is a proud member of our Sting alumni. Her experience with soccer began at the age of 4, carried her through her high school years, and earned her a full scholarship playing division 1 women’s soccer in college. Although her roots were always in Texas, Sage’s dream was to play college soccer on the West coast. She began her college career playing for Pepperdine University (1 year) and she finished at the University of Oklahoma (4 years), where she made history with her team and was captain for 3 years.

Upon graduating with a health and exercise science degree, she opened a nutrition business and began her adventure as a female entrepreneur. Although sports & fitness have played an important role in Sage’s life, she has always had a knack for creativity and the arts. Wearing many hats during her time as a business owner, she also explored her interest in fashion and photography. What started out to be a side hobby, documenting her personal style and sharing tidbits of her life, eventually turned into her full-time job.

Sage is now an entrepreneur, fashion & lifestyle blogger, designer, and influencer who has collaborated with global fashion and beauty brands through her blog, So Sage Blog. Her sharp business acumen is impressive and we are thrilled to have her on our foundation board.

She currently resides back in Dallas, with her husband Kyle and their two children Capri and Knox.
