Donation Policy

The Sting Soccer Foundation will deduct a processing fee of 4% to all gifts and donations made to the Foundation to account for administrative and operational costs. To be effective, the Foundation requires financial resources to offset direct operating costs related to soliciting, processing and stewarding contributions. The Foundation is ran by a Board of Directors all of whom are unpaid for their positions. The processing fee is automatically deducted from the amount you choose to donate. You are not expected to increase your gift amount to pay the fee, although some may choose to do so. The fee does not affect the tax deductibility of gifts and you will receive full credit for the total contributed amount.

Sage was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and is a proud member of our Sting alumni. Her experience with soccer began at the age of 4, carried her through her high school years, and earned her a full scholarship playing division 1 women’s soccer in college. Although her roots were always in Texas, Sage’s dream was to play college soccer on the West coast. She began her college career playing for Pepperdine University (1 year) and she finished at the University of Oklahoma (4 years), where she made history with her team and was captain for 3 years.

Upon graduating with a health and exercise science degree, she opened a nutrition business and began her adventure as a female entrepreneur. Although sports & fitness have played an important role in Sage’s life, she has always had a knack for creativity and the arts. Wearing many hats during her time as a business owner, she also explored her interest in fashion and photography. What started out to be a side hobby, documenting her personal style and sharing tidbits of her life, eventually turned into her full-time job.

Sage is now an entrepreneur, fashion & lifestyle blogger, designer, and influencer who has collaborated with global fashion and beauty brands through her blog, So Sage Blog. Her sharp business acumen is impressive and we are thrilled to have her on our foundation board.

She currently resides back in Dallas, with her husband Kyle and their two children Capri and Knox.
